Great honor, great article
Our thanks to the City Council for the proclamation naming our 60th anniversary date of Dec. 29 George and Mary Gleason Day, and to Mayor Helen Klanderud for reading the proclamation at our celebration. Such an honor!
Our thanks, too, to The Aspen Times for the feature story and photos, which seems to have pleased the community as well as ourselves. Numerous friends and even strangers have approached us to tell us how much they enjoyed the article and pictures, and everywhere we go people are smiling at us.
We hope the talented reporter, Eben Harrell, and photographer, Paul Conrad, will be assigned to lots of stories featuring everyday Aspen folks.
