Great grub

In your May 15 issue this year, you reviewed the restaurant scene in Aspen. My husband and I just had to write you about our extraordinary experience at Mogador this summer, which you called “the best new restaurant in high-above-sea-level Aspen.”

Chef owner Barclay Dodge and his wife Nicki were incredible hosts, treating us royally. The chef even invited us to visit his kitchen for a personally conducted tour.

The food was probably one of the finest dinners we have had in the U.S. ” it is certainly worth a trip to Aspen just to eat there. We had recently returned from Northern Spain and compared notes with Chef Dodge about Ferran Adria of El Bulli and his disciples.

Thank you for your continuing informative and right-on articles about restaurants around the world.
