Great gridiron support

Dear Editor:

We would like to thank all of the people that have supported the Aspen High School football team this season. As a team we very much appreciate all the contributions the community has made for us.

The Aspen football team would like to give special thanks to the Red Onion and to all of the following people for sponsoring our post-Friday night game dinners: Robert and Candice Christensen, Michael Woodrow, Kelly Dougherty, Rick and Zibby Schwartz, and Mike and Laura Kaplan. And thanks to the Donor Dudes Organization, especially Warren, Kathy, Chris and Missy Klug for hosting a post-game dinner at the Aspen Square.

We want to recognize and thank all of the people that help set up for the Friday night games, especially to everybody who participates in the booster club and the student booster club. We cannot forget to thank Erlinda and Ron Morehead for making all the incredible breakfasts on Saturday mornings.

Our biggest thanks goes to Coach Sirko and the coaching staff, for putting so much time and work into our season. Again we thank everybody for your support during this season.

Aspen Skiers players Joey Vernier, Ben Karbank, Quinn Morehead, and Brendan Wagner
