GOP caucus set for Basalt

Dear Editor:

The Republican caucus, for those of you living in the Eagle County portion of the Roaring Fork Valley, will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Basalt Middle School, at 51 School St. in downtown Basalt. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. and will end at 7.

There will be four different caucuses happening at this location for precincts 7, 8, 24 and 25; these four precincts make up the Eagle County portion of the Roaring Fork Valley.

The Republican caucus will feature a presidential preference poll for the Republican presidential nominee. In addition, precinct leaders will be chosen, as well as delegates and alternates to the county assembly to be held on March 24, the first step in the selection process of delegates and alternates to attend the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about the Eagle County Republican Party, please visit http://www.eaglegop.com. Thank you.
