God bless and thank you

Dear Editor:Our family would like to send out a heartfelt thank-you to all of our friends here in the Aspen community. Our young son is one lucky little man. First, he was wearing a helmet, which most definitely saved his life. Second, we are blessed to have the “A” team at every beck and call. The response by the Buttermilk ski patrol was swift and efficient; you guys deserve one big “atta boy.” Thank you so much for being there. Third, we’ve got one great hospital a short distance from the hill. Inside, the trauma “A” team is there. God bless. Thank you all so much: Dr. Purnell, Mary Fran, Steve, Debbie, Heather, Molly and many more. Thank you to our great extended family: ski buddies, hockey team, schoolmates and many more; we appreciate all of your generous support and love. The Big O will recover fully and will be back, thanks to the “A” team. That’d be the Aspen “A” team.Lisa, Hank, Whitney and Owen ThurstonAspen
