Go figure

Dear Editor:

I see that the local Republicans are sponsoring a presentation by Paul Wolfowitz, who was one of the most influential advisors to advocate the invasion of Iraq to the Bush administration and the American public.

Remember him? He’s the one who told us that the oil revenue from Iraq would pay for its reconstruction after the war. How appropriate that this event will be held on April Fools’ Day.
