Go back to Texas
Dear Editor:This letter was written on behalf of all the people who are compelled to observe and inhale the dust bowl remnants resulting from the now defunct Bair-Chase project outside of Glenwood Springs. It is also written on behalf of the majestic herd of elk whose winter habitat for centuries you totally scraped from the face of the planet only to leave the remaining exposed earth sitting idle without one single hint of vegetation or animal life.Seems to me there should be some sort of bond posted to prevent, as HST would have said, “greedheads” from creating ecological disasters such as this.In the future, when you big shots from Bair-Chase choose to take on another debacle like this one, do it in Texas please, there’s more room there and you’ll be closer to your home office.Don DixonAspen
