Gloria Helen Arnold
Gloria Helen Arnold passed away on Aug. 23 in Basalt. She was 79.
Gloria was born on July 25, 1931 to Posic Cerise and Ollie Glassier in Glenwood Springs. She was a rancher. She married Robert Arnold on June 10, 1952 in Basalt.
Gloria was married to Robert for 50 years and ranched in the Roaring Fork Valley the entire time. Her loves were her animals, and following her family to horse and rodeo events across the country.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents Posic and Ollie Cerise; sister Darlene Cerise and sister Vivi Blue.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Steve) Rieser, of Carbondale; brother, Conrad Cerise of Silt; and granddaughter, Kelly Nagel of Durango.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Mt. View Church in Glenwood Springs.
Farnum-Holt Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
