Globe’s best gloaters

Dear Editor:I’m sure that when Bush, during his first press conference after the election – expressing desire to work with Democrats – encouraged people to work together despite party lines, he meant that he wanted pin-headed, whiney conservative snoots to write letters and columns to be printed in their local newspapers, gloating about his victory. Nice goin’. Way to win over the Democrats! Also, you’ve got the best gloaters in the world on your side. You’ve got the pill-poppers and the telephone-sex fiends. Who needs your pompous words? In fact, who needs you for anything at all? (Yeah, you, Tony. Others, as well, but mostly you.)Buckley Bailey-GatesAspen
