Glenwood man arrested after chase

GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” Authorities arrested a man Tuesday night after he failed to pull over on Interstate 70 and eventually fled on foot.
The Colorado State Patrol and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kasey Fleming, 20, of Glenwood Springs, on suspicion of felony eluding and traffic violations.
According to the patrol, a trooper tried to stop Fleming at about 11:45 p.m. on I-70 near milepost 113, but Fleming didn’t pull over. Instead, he took the West Glenwood exit and drove onto Highway 82 and then up Red Canyon Road (Garfield County Road 115). He eventually had to stop when the road became impassible, and then fled on foot, the patrol said.
The trooper searched the area with the help of a canine unit from the sheriff’s office and arrested Fleming, according to a state patrol press release.
