Giving credit where it’s due

Dear Editor:

The attention given to the Jerome’s anniversary bash on the front page of Wednesday’s edition of The Aspen Times is totally appreciated. There is one slight but important correction required.

Please know that this spectacular event, destined to be talked about in the annals of our archives, is indeed happening, but the staging credit goes entirely to Brendan Carlin and Kevin Siegrist. It is their energy and their dedication that will turn the Jerome 2009 into the Jerome 1889 for a fantasy evening of fun and reminiscing. Aspen Historical Society is the grateful recipient of proceeds, but we cannot take credit for the staging or the extravagant ends to which these gentlemen have gone to ensure an unforgettable evening.
