Give peace a chance – now

Dear Editor:

A recent letter, “Israel’s right to defend,” which criticized Sue Gray, is missing any discussion of the “peace” end game. Isn’t that what everyone wants?

Ms. Gray’s point, although she constantly discredits herself, is the “Two State Solution.” This back and forth of who is meanest merely begs the question.

Since all have agreed on the “Two State Solution,” why isn’t it in serious 24/7 negotiations? While the Palestinians won’t negotiate until settlements stop, whatever that means, what is the problem with a few more condos? If negotiations started, settlement expansion would be at the top of the agenda. My Israel and Palestinian peace teams urge negotiations now, and settlements will be one of the major issues to resolve.

What’s the urgency? People are dying, while the Middle East children want a future.

For God’s sake, give peace a chance now! My work for peace can be seen at and
