Give KDNK a listen

Dear Editor:Tired of all of the political swill being spewed out of your radios and television sets? Try taking a break by tuning into KDNK Public Radio in Carbondale.KDNK is a valley treasure, one deserving of our support. The station is made up almost entirely of volunteers – people who are the glue that hold communities together. KDNK is hardly an apolitical operation, but at least its announcers have a sense of humor about this political year and they don’t carry any heavy-handed political advertising. The station is a refreshing break in the world of media.KDNK is currently having its fall membership drive and as a nonprofit, community endeavor it can use your support. Give ’em a listen, and I believe you will be eager to give them a few bucks.Gaylord T. GueninWoody Creek
