Gilbert `Kenney’ Holloway Jr.

Gilbert “Kenney” Holloway Jr., the son of longtime Woody Creek residents Gilbert and Irene Holloway, died May 31 in a motorcycle accident. He was 59 years old.

Holloway was born Oct. 9, 1939 in Winfield, Kan. He married Ann Trace on June 1, 1960, and moved to Ardmore, Kan., in 1969. He was the owner-operator of Frontier Tank, Inc.

He is survived by his wife; daughters Tracy Ann, Jennifer Lynn Campbell, and Kenna Robyn; his parents; brothers Jimmy Holloway of Arkansas City, Kan., Charles Holloway of Carbondale, Roy and David Holloway of Aspen, and Bobby Holloway of Rapid City, S.D.; sisters Louise Smith of Basalt, and Charlotte Anderson of Chippley, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
