Getting to Jazz Fest: take the bus

SNOWMASS VILLAGE ” The best way to get to and from the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day music festival Friday, Aug. 31, through Monday, Sept. 3, is on a free shuttle bus.
For those staying in Snowmass Village, the town will offer expanded free shuttle service to and from the venue. Paid parking will be available at the Rodeo Lot for $20 a day and Two Creeks for $10 a day. Free parking is available at the expanded Intercept Lot at Brush Creek and Highway 82, with free shuttles running continuously.
The festival grounds will open at 5 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; and noon Monday. Brush Creek Road will be closed at the festival site starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Use the Highland to Owl Creek detour to get to the Snowmass Village mall. The road will be back open by 9 p.m. Monday.
No coolers, cameras/ radio/ recording devices, cell-phone photography or recording, high-back chairs, inflatables, tents or pets are allowed at the site. The venue is lawn seating, so bring a blanket or tarp. Be prepared for Colorado weather and beware of counterfeit tickets. No camping is allowed.
