Getting better with age

Dear Editor:

Having lived in Aspen for nearly 40 years, I have had some wonderful times during each of the eras. None, however, seem to equate with this one as a senior citizen!

Events such as the Father/Mother Day Breakfast at the Senior Center last Sunday just reconfirm my feelings. Given by the wonderful Patterson Family of Paradise Bakery fame, it was another example of the special people who live in our town and do so much in so many ways. Many thanks to the Pattersons.

And, of course, the whole staff at the Senior Center who continue to amaze me with all of their knowledge on things “senior”; all of the events and services they provide continue to keep us all feeling as young as we can.
