Getting a bad rap

Dear Editor:Being made aware of the past letters in reference to the Big Wrap, I felt the need to express my thoughts as well (Letters to the editor, July 12 and 15).Up until two years ago, I lived in Aspen for 15 years and was happily a continuous patron of the Big Wrap. First, let me say that there is no harder working business owner in the valley than Babs. I really don’t think any one of those “writers” of the negative comments has any idea just how hard she works or what she puts up with on a day-to-day basis. Obviously, the spoiled brats who wrote the letters are just the tip of the iceberg of bad attitudes that she deals with all day long. In some ways, now more people are aware of what spoiled brats DO go in there and what attitudes she DOES deal with. While in Aspen, I worked right around the corner and spent much time at the Big Wrap and saw firsthand the entitlement of her patrons. How can so many people be so rude and feel they are so entitled when living in such a beautiful surrounding? Go back to where you came from. You obviously don’t deserve what Aspen has to offer or what the Big Wrap delivers. We love you Babs…don’t go changin’.Jeanne HicksNantucket, Mass.
