Get those skis tuned

Dear Editor:

Whew, those long days are over. I’m sure our ski town is breathing a sigh of relief knowing that we are over the hump and making the move toward winter. Time to wax up those boards and get ready.

Pretty sure I saw a yellow aspen up Express Creek yesterday. The trees can feel it. With last year’s snow as a base, we could crack the 200-inch base at Highlands this year. Wouldn’t that be nice! Don’t blink, it will be here before you know it …

Ski ya sooner than later.
