Generosity shines in fundraising bash

Dear Editor:

I offer most sincere thanks to all who attended and supported the Early Childhood Center’s Carnival Masquerade Bash last Saturday night. It was a terrific party and silent auction and a successful fundraiser for our school.

I am very appreciative of all of the parents and teachers’ efforts in making the event a success. As well, many thanks are due the 200 businesses and individuals who donated items for the silent auction.

I am also grateful to our sponsors whose support enabled us to put this event on. Thank you to Valley View Hospital Foundation, The Thrift Shop of Aspen, Alpine Bank, Alchemy Audio/Visual, Aspen Photo Booth, The Connected Concierge Management Group and Heritage Builders Incorporated.

Support Local Journalism

The mission of the nonprofit Early Childhood Center is to provide children aged 1 1⁄2-5 years a rich learning environment which promotes self-confidence, self-discipline, and the desire for life-long learning. Tuition covers only a portion of the operating costs. Thus, the ECC relies on the support of our families and greater community.

The generosity shown by our sponsors and those who donated auction items proves once again that this valley is an extraordinary place to live where people truly care about our community.
