Generosity deserves gratitude

Dear Editor:I would like to publicly thank the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club for providing skiing and snowboarding for all of our valley’s children. Several students at the Aspen Middle School needed help so they can enjoy our beautiful ski areas. Susan Blakeny of the club has gone out of her way to make this happen for our students. Susan and the club provided lessons, a ski pass and arranged a complete rental package. The rental package was provided by the generosity of Jeff Gorsuch and his crew over at Gorsuch Sports. The Aspen Skiing Co. generously gave each a ski pass so they can enjoy themselves and our mountains. I thank you on behalf of all the kids in our valley that all three of these organizations have helped. The Aspen spirit is alive and well – thank you.Debbie Harder-KreutzerAspen Middle School
