Fuss over a fight?

Dear Editor:I thought Bill Leach’s letter (Aspen Times, July 13) raised an interesting point regarding Deputy Joe DiSalvo’s encounter with Tom Drake. I’ve been reading a lot about Joe DiSalvo in both Aspen newspapers, but very little about Mr. Drake. Why? Why don’t you tell us something about this man? Any history of prior conflicts, drunken behavior, etc. Be fair, and let us know both sides. By the way, wasn’t Deputy DiSalvo seated at a table when he was forced to defend himself?I think most men would agree that if you pick a fight and it doesn’t turn out right for you, you don’t go crying to the police. Seems to me this should all have been dropped that night.Deryk CaveAspen
