Fun Fossil Trot

Dear Editor:I want to thank everyone who came out to support the Fossil Trot this last weekend. Your support for the seniors and Carbondale Senior Housing is very much appreciated. We had a wide age range of participants this year, starting with 9-month-old Teddy Jack Huttenhower, who won in his age category and received his first tooth (a fossil tooth), and 87-year-old Evalyn Masters, who not only won in her age category, but also was our oldest participant. They both did the mile race in record time. Thanks again, everyone, for your donations and support. Thanks again to all our sponsors, volunteers and Jenny Tempest for the great design on the T-shirts. We do have T-shirts left; you can stop by and buy one at Carbondale Senior Housing. Thanks to all. You make it a fun race. Keep running and good health.Jerilyn NieslanikCarbondale Senior Housing
