Frommer pleads guilty to Aspen check fraud charges

ASPEN ” Peter Frommer, the Aspen resident charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor in connection with local check fraud, pleaded guilty to the charges on Monday.

Frommer entered his guilty pleas in Pitkin County District Court. District Court Judge James accepted the pleas, and set an April 20 sentencing date.

The pleas were entered as part of a deal reached with the district attorney’s office in Aspen.

Frommer is to be given a three-year deferred judgment on the felony counts under the agreement.
