Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all of you who made the dream of a memorial bench for Liz Brady become reality. Many thanks should go to the town, Mark Hartlep and his Green Team Rangers for the location on town property and installation. In addition, Doug Mackenzie, Gregor and his crew from the Aspen Skiing Co. should be thanked for their various contributions. The bench has been installed in Yarrow Park (near the Chapel and Community Center) by the bridge, across Brush Creek near the interpretive sign.A raised bronze plaque has been ordered and will arrive in three to six weeks. We hope to have a simple dedication service at the bench in the near future and will put a notice in the Snowmass Sun when we have the exact date.At this time, contributions are still being accepted for the bench and plaque. If anyone would like to contribute, please forward a check to Ruth Hatfield, Box 5773, Snowmass Village, CO 81615.Ruth and Jack HatfieldSnowmass Village
