From Aspen to college

Dear Editor:

The Aspen Education Foundation (AEF) would like to extend a big thank-you to The Aspen Times for highlighting the wonderful work of Kathy Klug, Susan Walter and the many volunteers at the Aspen High School’s college advising office. The staff works very hard to ensure that Aspen’s students have the best possible opportunity to attend the college of their choice.

Congratulations to the 62 students who have been accepted to their first choice schools on “early decision” or “early action!” We wish you luck and know that you will be exceptional ambassadors for your Aspen community.

AEF is proud to fund a significant portion of the college advising program at Aspen High School. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our donors who make programs like the this one possible. To make a donation to the College Advising Program, please visit our website at
