Frisch belongs on council
I would like to publicly endorse Adam Frisch for Aspen City Council. It may seem trite, but it is true you can tell a lot about a person by playing a round of golf with him. Fortunately, I have played many rounds with Adam and his wife, Katy, and have come to appreciate his promptness, presentation, analytical mind, quick sense of humor and graciousness whether he has won or lost the match.
I have also been the Frischs’ real estate broker. Conducting business with a person is another way to judge an individual, and I can only tell you Adam is a thorough, analytical, tough negotiator and a honest man with the highest integrity. I believe these characteristics would be very beneficial to a person serving our community on the City Council.
I first met Adam and Katy six years ago when they arrived to stake their permanent claim to Aspen, and I became their landlord in Woody Creek (I have found being a landlord is another very good way to judge a man’s character!). It wasn’t long before Adam was actively involved with the local nonprofit groups, including the arts, the Aspen Institute, Aspen Youth Experience, the Aspen Young Professional Association, supporting Katy’s present position of vice president of the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club and volunteering his time and expertise on the Pitkin County Financial Advisory Board. His full commitment to these organizations is evident in his rapid rise to lead some of these organizations in a presidential position. Please take the time to call someone you know who has worked with Adam in any of these worthwhile community activities in order to better understand why I support Adam for City Council. You can also read a great deal more of Adam by visiting his website, http://www.adamforaspen.com.
I hope you express yourself in the May 5 election by voting for Adam Frisch.
