Freedman, Paussa and Teague

Dear Editor:

Basaltines who want to continue to see controlled growth and preservation of the special qualities that make Basalt Basalt, including its surrounding open space, should vote April 6 for Jim Paussa, Karin Teague and Anne Freedman.

Paussa is committed to collaboration and a clear community process. He worked on several issues that concerned my Elk Run neighborhood and others to help people get what they wanted. Teague is a practical, roll-up-her-sleeves type person who is also committed to the community. She brings a fresh perspective, and with young children of her own will focus attention on the needs of the youngest in our community. Freedman is truly dedicated to Basalt, having already served Town Council for eight years. These three will work to ensure Basalt maintains and enhances what people love about the community.

Vote April 6.
