ASPEN – The Aspen Global Change Institute will present a free public lecture, “Agriculture After Norman Borlaug: Can Sustainable Agriculture Feed the World?,” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, 100 Puppy Smith St.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Tim Crews, professor of environmental studies at Prescott College.
Most of Crews’ research focuses on understanding rates of nutrient inputs from biological fixation, soil weathering and atmospheric deposition into managed and native ecosystems. Crews has also worked to develop Prescott College’s agroecology program since 1995.
