Forget the city

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:

Roger Marolt’s op-ed piece was right on in the April 30 Times! RFTA, Aspen Valley Hospital and the Aspen Recreation Center are great assets to our community! But at what price?

The Aspen of today has become nothing like the wonderful ski town of only a few years go! It is glitzy and shallow and now filled with overpaid bureaucrats with no knowledge of the happy, friendly village we all knew and loved!

They know not, that they know not, that they know not!

We do not need to emulate the crass, selfish big-city life!
