Forever grateful
Dear Editor:
I am writing this open letter of thanks to all who contributed to “Forever Plaid” at the Snowmass Chapel. In particular, I would like to thank the 550-plus audience members from the Roaring Fork Valley who came out for the show and were so appreciative and fun, and sent e-mails inviting friends to come and see the show.
The ladies who sewed the beautiful new stage curtains: Jacqueline Clark, Nancy Ferguson and Judi Loubier. The Snowmass Arts advisory board, which put on our opening night reception and distributed posters and flyers and placed ads in the paper: Carol Batchelder, Mary Beth Blake, Molly Donnelly, Jan Grenda, Hunter O’Hanian, Christine Nolen and Page Shuck. Joan Bemis, who orchestrated and participated in numerous projects, but especially ticket sales. All of the volunteer ticket sellers. Linda Gerdenich, who did an outstanding job of publicizing the show. Our three fantastic local newspapers that all ran beautifully written stories, together with the TV and radio programs and announcements, helped us get the word out. The generous sponsors of the winter cultural series. The talented cast and crew of the show: Adam Leath, Franz Alderfer, Elizabeth Mauchly, Patrick Fullerton, Beth Oden, Rita Hunter and Brad Moore.
Most of all, directors David Dyer and John Goss for their tireless ambition and attention to detail. My heartfelt thanks to all who helped bring this show to the Snowmass Chapel.
