Once again that grand party that is the Food & Wine Magazine Classic in Aspen was held in June with revelers from Aspen and around the world enjoying the eating and drinking. Since there were so many people attending whom I wanted to photograph, I will publish mostly photographs for this week and next.Gael Greene, who used to live in Aspen and now is in New York City (where she writes restaurant reviews), was in town for Food & Wine. She was feted at a reception given by Richard Edwards in the Collins Block penthouse formerly owned by Harley Baldwin. Gael has just published her memoir, “Insatiable: Tales from a life of delicious excess,” and it includes many mentions of her time in Aspen.Undercurrent … Speaking of eating … at noon you see the patio at Clark’s Market filled with Aspenites having lunch.
