Food bank in Aspen on Sept. 15

Needy residents of Pitkin County can visit Food Bank of the Rockies’ mobile pantry location to receive free food on Sept. 15 in Aspen.

The distribution will be held in the parking lot of the U.S. Forest Service Department’s Ranger Station, located at 806 W. Hallam St., starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until the truck is empty. There are no eligibility requirements or restrictions to receive food, which will be provided free of charge to those with a self-declared need.

The U.S. Forest Service Ranger Station will host the mobile pantry on the second Thursday of each month.
