Follow pure precepts

Dear Editor:Is world peace in our DNA and are we frustrating ourselves trying to establish laws to force ourselves to adhere to confusing, unfair and arbitrary rules, rather than the pure precepts that are in our hearts? Why are we destroying things in order to fight over how to fix them? We know we did not originally create anything, so why are we contending over who did? Why have we invented legal and laymen’s languages, when it closes the door of knowledge to us and creates a ruling class? The reason We the People feel so much stress is because we know, in our hearts, that some situations we have caused or allowed to exist are wrong!Eloise IlgenCarbondale
