Fishing for a cause

Dear Editor: Last weekend, the Roaring Fork Valley hosted the third annual Cystic Fibrosis Rocky Mountain Fly Fishing Classic to raise money for research for this debilitating disease. Anglers from across the country, as well as from this valley, participated in this event which raised over $99,000.I would like to give a special thanks to the guides who participated and without whom all of this would not be possible: Aaron Calcott, Mike Chmura, Greg DeJulio, Tripp Dobson, Kea Hause, Kyle Holt, Chris Kish, Craig Langlinais, Taylor Logsdon, Gifford Maytham, Doug Moyer, Ry Neiley, Adam Sahnow, Frank Smethurst, Jeremy Stott, Matthew Thomas, Mike Thomas and Will Sands. Thanks guys, you are the best! Thanks also to Alpine Angling and the Taylor Creek Flyshops.Tim HengCarbondale
