First sun, then more snow in Aspen

ASPEN ” Blue skies and warming temperatures on Wednesday will give way to more snow in Aspen by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday, a sunny but cold day, produced no snow on local slopes.
Despite frigid morning wind chills on Wednesday, highs of 25 to 35 are forecast for the day. Thursday will bring highs in the 30s with partly sunny skies, but snow returns to the picture Thursday night and through the weekend.
In its Wednesday morning forecast, weather service is calling for a 40 percent chance of snow after midnight on Thursday and a 40 percent chance of snow Friday with cloudy skies and highs in the 30s. West winds are expected to pick up Friday with gusts of around 35 mph.
Snow is also likely Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday and accumulations are likely, though the weather service isn’t yet defining those accumulations.
