First Amendment fashions

Dear Editor:A great big thank you goes out to all the individuals and businesses that made the first Stepstone Center fashion show a styl’n success, including Alpine Rentals, ACE Hardware, Stone Brewing, Hi Point Distributing, EnviroTextiles, the Novel Tea Bookstore, Access Roaring Fork, the Carbondale Community School, KDNK and all the volunteer participants, especially Amy Kimberly (the genius behind the event), her assistant Anada Banc, DJ Glen Byrom, lighting maestro Bill Flanigan, and all the members of the wonderful dance band Bad Man Jack. This year’s theme was the “Fashion of Politics” and was a wonderful celebration of our First Amendment right to free speech. Stay tuned for another fun night of fashion in the fall of 2005.Scott ChaplindirectorStepstone Center
