Filmfest shines

Dear Editor:This year marked a milestone for Aspen Film and Filmfest – we celebrated 30 years of creating memorable film programs for diverse audiences. As this edition came to a close, we were struck with such gratitude for the support this community has provided all these years. From pint-size hoop players to mountain adventurers to film lovers fascinated by timely, moving subject matter, the screenings and special presentations appeared to resonate with a lively audience of locals, seasonal residents and visitors from all over. Our awards to Stanley Tucci, Jason Reitman and Paula Patton were true highlights. The challenges of producing an event of this magnitude would not be easily met were it not for the generosity of the individuals and businesses who made this edition of Filmfest such a proud celebration of our 30 years.
