Film, presentation look at Middle East

The Aspen Jewish Community Center will feature the screening of a film and a presentation by Jonathan S. Tobin, an expert in U.S.-Israeli relations and conditions in the Middle East, on Wednesday.

The film, “The J Street Challenge,” brings together distinguished scholars and writers across a wide political spectrum to discuss events in the Middle East.

Tobin is a well-known, award-winning senior online editor and chief blogger at Commentary Magazine.

The event will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Aspen Counterpoint, a nonprofit organization that tries to build understanding of crucial topics that impact events of the day, is presenting it. The organization strives to increase understanding of issues by getting people to listen to all sides.
