Feeling slandered
In response to Barney Wyckoff’s letter published March 19:
It is incredible to me that I have been slandered by the only person who ever betrayed John Denver. In our 33 year partnership, John Denver was sued only once; that was by Barney Wyckoff.
John took Barney from a non-entity job and gave him a way to learn something about the entertainment business, and an opportunity to make more money than he ever dreamed of; and, more importantly, gave him his friendship. John died still harboring this betrayal by a close friend.
His comments about John Denver and my relationship with him does not dignify a response.
