Farmed out to Japan

Dear Editor:

The Aspen Art Museum went all the way to Japan for an architect to design a new building that looks every bit like a giant cheese grater. Why not hire one of our very capable local architects?

At least they didn’t pick Daniel Liebeskind, who gave the Denver Art Museum a crash-landed UFO. The proposed lattice wall should make a great hangout for the local pigeons. Imagine what that means. If I have ruffled someone’s feathers, good.
