Farewell, friends

Dear Editor:

It looks like Ellen and I have finally succumbed to the song of the sirens and are on our way to the next adventure in our lives. We would like to thank all of you who have let us into your lives during our many years here in paradise.

We would especially like to thank those of you who shared your love and caring during our many Christmas Days together and of course the many years of Mario Lanza, Joseph and Lisa, and the great joy of those days filled with the heart and soul of the great Puccini love arias. These memories will be carried with us for the rest of our lives.

We will be having a final garage and moving sale this weekend; hopefully we will get to see a few friends and bid you a fond farewell. We think we are off to Key West for a while, and then who knows? So little time, so much to see. The memories of your love and caring will be with us forever. Thanks again for being there for us.

Leslie and Ellen Holst
