I attended the Aspen Business Luncheon this past week and heard four extraordinary women speak of their various successes and passions. With an excellent moderator, I was inspired by their backgrounds, experiences and continued successes. The Roaring Fork Valley and the world are better places because of women like these.
I would like to thank another group of women in Aspen who contribute to our lives in meaningful ways.
My property manager of 11 years, Lee Bryan, former concierge at the Little Nell, started her own property-management business, the Connected Concierge. She is intelligent, dependable, honest and, along with her husband, a delight to work with.
My housekeeper of 11 years, Marisela Rico, has never missed a day, driving 80 miles round-trip to clean our home, even during snow and ice storms. She, also, is a delight.
Jessica Salet and all of the energetic volunteers at the Thrift Shop plus the waitresses at the Little Nell, Ajax Tavern, Pacifica, Starbucks and other establishments in town try very hard to please their customers. All of the nurses at Aspen Valley Hospital who have helped us and countless others with their compassion and kindness also must be added to the list of “Aspen Women” whom I admire and appreciate.
