Excited about the future
Dear Editor:As you may have heard by now, The Aspen Club received final City Council approval on Tuesday for our Aspen Club Living project. This approval marks the culmination of three years of hard work and stands as a tribute to the Aspen Community Development Department, the Planning & Zoning Commission, City Council, our neighbors and members, including the fantastic family we have here at the Club and the tremendous support that we have received from the community in general. The outpouring of enthusiasm for this project is both humbling and inspiring. It kept us motivated throughout this extensive journey of approval. Our team’s goal throughout it was to continue to do what has made us successful by providing a great customer experience at the Club while remaining an engaged member of the community. Through this, we have worked to create a project that all of Aspen can be truly proud of.As many of you know, Aspen Club Living combines all the skills and talents of The Aspen Club’s team with a residential component so that, in addition to the variety of programs and benefits we already provide to our current members and guests, we can host more in-depth, cutting-edge programs on health and performance. Aspen Club Living also includes extensive upgrades to the Club itself that will ensure our ongoing position as a premier, state-of-the-art health and fitness center while maintaining affordable memberships. Specific improvements include remodeled Club interiors, a new pool, new exercise studios, updated locker rooms with new hot tubs and steam rooms, the most advanced exercise equipment, and additional classes and programming. The Aspen Club of the future will be something very special within Aspen specifically because it takes a leadership role in the direction that Aspen ultimately wants to go. In addition, this will be the first project in the country to combine sustainable green development with a holistic health and wellness focus to create a healthy living community. I continue to be amazed by the consistently strong showing of support for me and Aspen Club Living throughout this process. Thank you! Without you, I am not sure the project would be what it has become today. It means a lot to us. It is truly an honor to be part of this great community. We are excited about the future of the Club and the creation of Aspen Club Living. For those of you who have questions on the project, please feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by my office. Michael FoxAspen
