Evolution of cycling in Aspen takes center stage

The Aspen Historical Society will discuss cycling’s local impact during its Time Travel Tuesday panel, “Cycling: Working on the Chain Gang,” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Limelight Hotel. The cost is $8 or free for Historical Society members at the Lixiviator level.

Speakers include Derek Miller, Ute City Cycles founder; Erik Skarvan, Sun Dog Athletics owner and bike guide; and Charlie Tarver, Hub of Aspen owner. It’s the final panel in the series.

The Limelight Lodge happy hour will include $4 draft beers and $10 pizzas during these presentations. The Historical Society will hold a weekly drawing for a gift certificate for the Limelight.
