Everlasting poetry
Dear Editor:
We would like to share this poem and thoughts with all pet lovers and friends of Josanna Morningstar, the author. This in loving memory of her and celebrating her birthday, Aug. 14. She is not far away, just not in our world … or is she helping us along?
What a beautiful day!
The glow of the changing leaves as the sun shines down on them,
The smell of fall surrounding my world.
The good feeling of having so many beautiful friends.
The happiness in my animal’s eyes . OH!
What a beautiful day!!!!
We miss you and love you so much, from Mom and Dad, Steve and Buddy dog and so many friends!
Josanna was killed by a drunk driver in 2005. The driver was convicted of vehicular homicide. Her friends and family ask everyone to get smart and do not drink and drive.
