Enough is enough

Dear Editor:A concrete plant in Snowmass Village? Burlingame sprawl? Traffic out the ying-yang? 10,000-square-foot homes? Timeshares and fractional ownership? More and more and more! What the hell is happening to this place? When did we forget about our no-growth policies of the past and start comparing ourselves to Vail (yuk!) in our efforts to remain “competitive in the industry?” After 40 years, I have finally come to the realization that enough is enough. We are truly at the point of ruining paradise – scheissing in the nest! As for Snowmass Village residents who supported Base Village, well, sometimes you get what you ask for. I hope you remember your vote of support when you’re gasping for air through the cement dust from your shiny new concrete plant!Steve MaroltAspen
