Endorsements for Holy Cross board

Dear Editor:

Next week, Holy Cross Energy members will receive a ballot for the board of directors of our co-op. Traditionally, very few people vote, and the same people are elected or re-elected each time. I am urging members to take the time to consider the choices and vote for Hal Clark, Adam Palmer and Marshall Foote.

In 2007, three out of four members surveyed directed the Holy Cross board to move more aggressively toward increasing the mix of renewable energy that we consume, even allowing for a modest rate increase to achieve that goal.

New energy and new board members are needed in order to move forward in a thoughtful but meaningful manner. Hal, Adam and Marshall blend experience, green building experience, and small business experience, all of which will be useful for the next Holy Cross board.

Please look for your ballot and vote for Hal, Adam, and Marshall.
