Emperor has no clothes

Dear Editor:Tickets for Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11” are still moving like hotcakes, according to local Isis jobbers. It’s apparent that folks have a hankering for “ta truth mon,” which network and cable media can’t or won’t (conflicted interests?) deliver.”Fahrenheit 9/11″ was nothing new for people who read, presumably about half the country, who had the good sense to oppose the fiction Boy-Bush peddled in his gallop to war. However, new images did emerge. Who will soon forget our (mis)leader’s response after being told that America was under attack (after the second plane struck the south tower). Bush seemed bereft of major decision-making powers as he read on with “My Pet Goat” for a long seven minutes. Absent his puppet-masters (Cheney, Powell, Papa Bush) his response was positively lacking. But, of course, our media assured us his reaction in the wake of 9/11 was exemplary and resolute. Yeah, right.A raging polemic, yes, but if our “liberal” media had been as critical of Bush that they now are of Mr. Moore, perhaps we wouldn’t be in the quagmire of Mespot, and close to 900 young Americans would have been around to enjoy their country’s Fourth of July celebrations. The emperor has no clothes, and his butt is ugly. See ya in the hills.Ben NewellAspen
