Emmer has what it takes
Dear Editor:
I have lived in Aspen for 15 years and been a visitor since my teens. I operate a business here and remain active in politics, mostly at the state and national level. I have observed mayors come and go in Aspen, candidates come and go, but I have to say I have never seen a finer candidate emerge for mayor than my friend Maurice Emmer.
I could go on at length about the qualities Maurice possesses that will make him one of the best mayors Aspen has produced. Maurice has a gift for listening to people’s concerns and analyzing issues and problems in objective, fair and practical ways while keeping the best interests of our community his main objective.
Please observe Maurice’s keen understanding of issues while reading his responses to questions he and the other candidates were asked by the Red Ant. Check it out at http://www.emmer4mayor2013.org/platform.html.
