Elvis at Stillwater
I read Allyn Harvey’s article in Thursday’s Aspen Times about the work stoppage at Stillwater because Linda and Stewart Resnick object to the planned roofing material.
It also identifies the source of the Resnicks’ fortune as the Franklin Mint, “a mail order company that sells collector dinner plates adorned with historical scenes and popular figures on television.”
What is the problem? Why the work stoppage? Do the roof in commemorative Elvis plates and get back to work.
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.

Aspen’s dirty downtown alleys are enough of a blight that the city government is taking the initiative to clean them up this week.
